Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer – Observability & Performance Engineering to join their team. As a Site Reliability Engineer – Observability & Performance Engineering, you will be part of the IT Operations supporting critical application performance and system reliability. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. The role is located in Chandler, AZ, with a pay range of $65-70 per hour. Key responsibilities include establishing and enhancing monitoring systems to measure end-to-end performance and user availability of critical applications; collaborating with business partners and operations teams to develop technical and business monitoring requirements; supporting production and operational environments by evaluating system performance, reliability, scalability, and resiliency; identifying, triaging, and resolving production issues, partnering with engineering teams to determine root causes; and creating dashboards, reports, and alerts to communicate key metrics and improve system observability. Required qualifications include 8-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 6 years in DevOps, SRE, or performance engineering roles; proficiency in triaging production issues using APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic; a strong background in Java, front-end development (React JS, Angular), and middleware such as Apache/Tomcat; experience with backend databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or Hadoop, and scripting skills in Python, UNIX, or Perl; and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, Terraform, and Ansible.
