Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to strengthen the licensing operations within their IT department. This role combines administrative, analytical, and follow-up activities to provide transversal support to IT, Procurement, and Finance teams. The mission focuses on ensuring a reliable, compliant, and optimized software portfolio throughout the entire lifecycle.
Responsibilities: Manage the complete lifecycle of IT licenses including request, approval, acquisition, and renewal. Maintain a precise and reliable database of active, expired, and renewable software licenses. Analyze contracts and licensing clauses in collaboration with procurement and finance stakeholders. Evaluate usage data to identify underutilized assets and propose optimization strategies. Monitor key performance indicators related to license compliance, risks, and potential savings. Prepare analytical reports and dashboards to facilitate data-driven decision-making for management.
Requirements: You have 3+ years of experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or IT Procurement. You possess strong knowledge of license models from major software vendors and experience with SAM or ITAM solutions. You bring advanced analytical skills using Excel, SQL, and Power BI. You have experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions within complex contracts. You're proactive, rigorous, and possess strong communication and ownership skills.
