Software Tester – AIO & Jira

The client, a prominent institution in the higher education sector, is looking for an experienced professional to join their development department. The project focuses on the rigorous testing of large-scale, mission-critical applications including student information systems.

Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive testing on large, mission-critical business applications. Apply formal testing methodologies and techniques to ensure system reliability. Execute functional testing and utilize specialized testing suites or tools. Manage defect tracking and quality reporting processes using Jira. Perform specialized AIO testing within a complex software environment. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the quality of student information systems.

Requirements: 7+ years of experience as a Software Tester. 5+ years of experience testing large-scale, mission-critical applications. Proven experience with formal testing methodologies and techniques. Hands-on experience using Jira. Prior experience working within the higher education sector. Experienced in performing AIO tests. ISTQB certification. Native in Dutch.

Nice to have: Experience with PeopleSoft, Knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS), Proficiency in specialized testing suites and tools, Possession of a Prince 2 certification.

Offer: Start date 01/01/27, Duration 6 months, Work regime Full-time, Location Brussels, Contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
