Solution Architect – Asset Management & GIS

Our client, a major organization in the energy sector, is seeking a dedicated professional to optimize their IT infrastructure and application landscape. The role focuses on designing technical solutions for business challenges within the assets domain while modernizing the existing technical environment.

Responsibilities: Analyze functional and non-functional requirements to define architectural constraints and objectives. Conduct solution decomposition to create building blocks using established reference architectures and patterns. Align stakeholders across product organizations and delivery teams to maintain technical standards. Support delivery teams to ensure implementations follow the intended architecture design. Deliver comprehensive architecture designs that adhere to established vision and guidelines.

Utilize governance structures and techniques like ADR or ATAM for gating and decision-making.

Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture. Knowledge of IT standards and methodologies such as TOGAF, ATAM, and CBAM. Familiar with modern architectural paradigms including Domain Driven Design (DDD), microservices, and event-driven architectures. Experience with Architecture Modeling Languages like ArchiMate. Proactive, autonomous, and result-oriented. Fluent in English with a good level of Dutch or French.

Nice to haves: Working experience in an Agile environment. Experience with GIS solutions, specifically ArcGIS. Functional knowledge of Asset Management. Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect.
