Volledige omschrijving

Als Specialist Chemische Veiligheid & Compliance ondersteun je de Lab Safety Manager bij het verbeteren van chemische inventarisatie, informatiesystemen en opslagcompliance. Je werkt samen met collega's binnen het laboratorium, Safety, Facility, IT en externe partijen om compliance en processen verder te verbeteren.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

- Valideren van CMR/ZZS-inventarisgegevens in LabVantage

- Actualiseren van chemische gegevens en SDS-informatie in ChemWatch

- Beoordelen van chemische opslag volgens ADR en PGS 15

- Verbeteren van compatibiliteit, segregatie, hoeveelheden en etikettering

- Ondersteunen bij het oplossen van auditbevindingen en corrective actions

- Verbeteren van toegang tot SDS-informatie bij noodsituaties

- Opzetten van inspectie- en periodieke opruimprocessen

- Actualiseren van gecontroleerde documenten, templates en trainingsmateriaal

- Coördineren van implementatie en zorgen voor een gestructureerde overdracht

Vereisten

- HBO/WO-opleiding in Chemie, Laboratoriumwetenschappen, EHS of een vergelijkbare richting

- Diploma Arbeidshygiënist of Hogere Veiligheidskundige (HVK) is sterk gewenst

- Sterke kennis van chemisch voorraadbeheer en CMR/ZZS-stoffen

In this role, you will prepare, plan, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure technicians can execute work safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to production. You will be a key link between Maintenance and Production, ensuring that work packages, documentation, and permits (including LOTOTO/LOTO) are in place and maintenance activities are aligned with operational priorities. Responsibilities Prepare and plan preventive and corrective maintenance work for technicians.

Create and manage work permits and related safety documentation. Prepare LOTOTO/LOTO (Lock Out, Tag Out, Try Out) procedures and ensure safe equipment isolation/shutdown. Align maintenance activities with production planning to minimize downtime and ensure availability. Prepare job packages including technical descriptions, approvals, work instructions, and maintenance documentation. Arrange required materials, spare parts, tools, and resources for planned maintenance activities.

Maintain strong communication with technicians, production teams, and other site stakeholders. Coordinate external contractors when required. Follow up on execution and ensure accurate maintenance administration and documentation. Requirements Completed technical education at MBO or HBO level (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or similar). Proven experience in maintenance work preparation / planning in an industrial environment.

Strong understanding of work permits, safety procedures, and technical documentation. Hands-on knowledge of LOTOTO/LOTO and safe equipment shutdown/isolation practices. Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders. Fluent Dutch is mandatory (English is an advantage). Experience in a GMP or regulated environment (pharma/biotech/food/process industry) is strongly preferred. Role Description We are seeking an experienced Absence Management Case Manager to support employees throughout their sickness absence and return-to-work journey. Acting as the central point of contact for employees, managers, and plant managers, you will oversee absence cases from the first day of absence in accordance with the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter).

You will work closely with occupational health professionals, translate medical advice into practical action plans, and provide guidance throughout the reintegration process. As part of the Case Management team, you will support both office-based and operational employees across multiple locations, ensuring a compliant, employee-focused, and effective approach to absence management. In addition to day-to-day case management, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide expert advice on absence prevention and wellbeing-related topics.

Responsibilities Manage employee sickness absence cases from day one through to successful reintegration. Ensure compliance with the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter) and related legislation. Serve as the primary contact for employees, managers, and plant managers regarding absence and reintegration matters. Conduct regular absence review meetings with employees and relevant stakeholders. Translate occupational physician recommendations into clear and actionable reintegration plans.

Provide ongoing guidance and support to employees and managers throughout the absence management process. Coordinate and support applications for IVA and WIA disability benefits. Maintain accurate case documentation and administration. Identify opportunities to improve absence management processes and contribute to relevant projects. Advise internal stakeholders on absence prevention and sustainable employability practices. Travel regularly to sites across the Eastern Netherlands region to support employees and managers on location.

Requirements HBO (Bachelor's degree level) working and thinking level. Valid registration as a Certified Case Manager (CROV or RCCM/RCMC). Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in absence management. Strong practical knowledge of the Dutch Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter). Experience managing cases independently and providing expert guidance to stakeholders. Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organizational and planning abilities with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and proactive approach. Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of responsibilities. Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic working environment.
