Omschrijving
We are looking for a specialist to support a major client in the development and operation of log ingestion pipelines for SIEM and security data platforms, as well as the integration, validation and prioritization of new security-relevant data sources. Technical requirements include: extensive practical experience with logging, observability and data pipeline technologies; knowledge of OpenTelemetry; experience with OpenSearch, Elasticsearch, Elastic Stack or comparable security data platforms; practical experience with ingestion and streaming technologies such as Fluentd, Logstash, Beats, Vector, Kafka or comparable solutions; experience with cloud-native logging and monitoring in AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud; knowledge of Kubernetes logging, container metadata, audit logs and distributed system telemetry data; experience with data quality, parsing, schema design, index lifecycle management, retention and performance optimization; good knowledge of Linux. Preferred certifications: Elastic certifications or comparable qualifications in cloud data engineering, data engineering or Kubernetes; certifications in observability or from corresponding platform providers; a certification in data engineering or platform engineering is an additional qualification.
