Supply chain Coordinator

Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply chain Coordinator to join our client's team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will oversee the weekly production planning for multiple manufacturing plants, ensuring a seamless balance between customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities: Manage the weekly planning process for 3–5 manufacturing plants; Translate customer demand into actionable production plans; Evaluate last week’s production results to inform future scheduling; Develop weekly production schedules covering several weeks to up to a year ahead; Switch between short-term and mid-term planning as needed to optimize factory output; Collaborate directly with plant contacts, challenging assumptions when necessary to improve supply plans; Ensure production aligns with demand, balancing service levels with manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements: Strong data skills and proficiency in Excel, experience with Slim4 or SlimStock is a plus; HBO degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field; 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning or logistics; Critical thinking skills, confident in debating and challenging production assumptions; Fluency in Dutch and English.
