Supply Chain Specialist

Our client is a global leader in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes. They operate within a highly regulated environment, prioritizing quality, compliance, and efficiency across their supply chain operations. We are seeking an experienced Regional Supply Chain and Cold Chain Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the distribution of products across the region. The role focuses on ensuring reliable supply, maintaining service levels, and adhering to GDP regulations.

The successful candidate will develop and manage cold chain solutions, build strong relationships with supply chain partners, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include: ensure the supply meets demand, service levels are maintained, and operations stay within budget, all in compliance with GDP standards; develop, select, and implement cold chain solutions within the supply network; conduct regular performance reviews with supply chain partners, identify issues, and drive improvements through reporting and escalation management; support internal stakeholders by maintaining excellent relationships with third-party logistics providers and escalating issues when necessary; manage agreements with supply chain partners, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met; identify savings and efficiency opportunities through continuous improvement practices, enhancing quality, performance, and GDP compliance; analyze emerging trends or legislative changes that could impact distribution strategies or cold chain practices; collaborate with internal teams and participate in projects aligned with regional distribution priorities and initiatives; plan, develop, and oversee distribution routes and lanes across the wider region.

Requirements: Master's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Change Management, or related fields; minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics, with a focus on supplier management and supply chain operations; expertise in cold chain logistics, warehousing, and distribution; proven project management experience across departments and geographical locations; strong track record of supplier management and process improvement; excellent analytical skills, with proficiency in tools like MS Excel; fluent in English, both written and spoken; demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure and within teams; strong relationship-building, negotiation, and persuasion skills; results-oriented with a strong drive for excellence and continuous improvement; high sense of responsibility with problem-solving capabilities; effective communication and presentation skills.
