Supply Planner

The Company: A large international organization operating within the food and dairy industry, with an extensive supply chain and production network. The business combines manufacturing, commercial operations and integrated supply planning, with a strong focus on service, operational efficiency, continuous improvement and supply chain optimization.

About the Role: As a Supply Planner, you will manage tactical, operational and daily supply planning across an end to end network. The role combines hands on planning with operational activities, process improvement and projects. You will work closely with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, production sites, commercial stakeholders and the global S&OP organization to balance service, inventory, capacity, cash and cost. You will also contribute to capacity planning and supply scenarios while helping improve the overall supply network.

Responsibilities: Manage tactical, operational and daily supply planning for the Butter and Milkpowder portfolio; Balance customer service, inventory, cash and operational costs; Co own the operational demand and supply cycle with Supply Network Planning and Demand Planning colleagues; Support the S&OP cycle and prepare relevant supply scenarios; Align supply plans and scenarios with site supply stakeholders; Provide Rough Cut Capacity Planning input for the portfolio; Support optimization of the wider production and supply network; Work with commercial stakeholders to maximize the value of supply driven product flows; Identify and implement improvements related to service, inventory, cost and planning processes; Manage improvement projects through to successful completion; Work effectively with different organizational levels within the production environment; Adapt planning priorities when operational circumstances change.

Requirements: Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management; APICS or equivalent certification if the degree is not focused on Supply Chain Management; Relevant supply planning or network planning experience; Strong knowledge of S&OP principles; Knowledge of Rough Cut Capacity Planning; Understanding of MPS and MRP principles; Practical experience with OMP planning software; Experience working in multifunctional teams and matrix organizations; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Experience with inventory and capacity planning; Affinity with process improvement and project based work; Ability to communicate and make clear decisions across different organizational levels; Flexible approach to changing planning and operational priorities; Fluent Dutch and English.
