Eisen

- Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with GMP-regulated environments, preferably pharmaceutical, biotech or food manufacturing
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
- Comfortable working with external maintenance partners and different internal departments
- Knowledge of utilities and building systems such as HVAC, compressed air, sprinkler systems or warehouse/building equipment
- Willing and available to participate in the 24/7 on-call rotation, normally approximately once per month for a 7-day period
- Proven experience with chillers – MUST
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Omschrijving
Our client is a global biotechnology organization focused on developing and manufacturing innovative medicines. The Breda site operates in a highly regulated environment where safety, quality, reliability and continuous improvement are essential. The Facilities & Engineering team is responsible for the technical infrastructure and utility systems that support the site's operations. We are looking for a System Owner Engineer – Mechanical to take technical ownership of important utility systems at the Breda site. The chiller system is a must-have, while experience with HVAC, compressed air and other building utilities is highly valuable. You will be responsible for the reliability and lifecycle management of your systems, supporting maintenance activities, investigating technical problems and driving improvements. You will also work on engineering projects involving the design, installation, upgrade and replacement of assets. This is a fully onsite role in Breda and is initially offered for 6 months, with potential extension depending on performance and business/project needs. Important: The position includes an on-call duty. Typically, the System Owner participates approximately once per month in a 7-day duty period, providing 24-hour availability to support ongoing maintenance activities when technical assistance is required. Responsibilities include: taking ownership of mechanical utility systems with chillers as the key system; supporting maintenance activities and troubleshooting technical issues; providing technical guidance to the external maintenance/service provider; analysing recurring equipment failures and leading Root Cause Analyses (RCA); identifying and implementing opportunities to improve reliability and maintenance performance; reviewing and optimizing preventive maintenance activities; helping develop maintenance concepts; working with project managers and senior engineers on utility and engineering projects; supporting design, installation, modification and replacement of technical assets; working closely with stakeholders; maintaining technical documentation and ensuring GMP compliance. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred) or equivalent experience; proven experience with chillers – MUST; experience with GMP-regulated environments (pharma, biotech, food); knowledge of utilities and building systems such as HVAC, compressed air, sprinkler systems; experience with HVAC and/or compressed air is an advantage; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; strong documentation and stakeholder management skills; comfortable with external maintenance partners; willing to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation (approx. once per month for 7 days); fully onsite in Breda; experience with CMMS/Maximo, SAP, validation (FAT/SAT/SIT), building automation is a plus.
