Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and eager Junior Manufacturing Systems Support Specialist to join our Technology team. In this entry-level role, you will provide essential support for manufacturing and warehouse operations, working closely with a seasoned team to ensure smooth technology functionality on the shop floor and in storage areas. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing systems and IT support within a global industry leader.
Responsibilities: Assist in the deployment and maintenance of manufacturing and warehouse technology systems, including printers, scanners, and production equipment. Support the implementation of new technological solutions aimed at enhancing manufacturing reliability and efficiency, including emerging Industry 4.0 technologies like IoT and AI. Perform updates, patching, and troubleshooting of operating systems and applications used on the shop floor and in warehouses. Deliver and set up IT equipment for production and warehouse staff. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and support change implementation. Document system configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user training materials. Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders to ensure operational continuity and technical support. Keep abreast of advancements in manufacturing technology and industry best practices to recommend improvements.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Up to 3 years of experience in IT support, manufacturing technology, or operations technology is preferred but not mandatory.
