For a major organization in the insurance sector, we are looking for an experienced Technical Analyst to join a Content & Communication Technologies team. The department provides transversal digital services supporting incoming and outgoing document and communication flows, including document and email generation, electronic and paper distribution, archiving, automated process orchestration, testing, and operational support. As a Technical Analyst, you will act as the key bridge between architects and developers, translating technical and functional requirements into robust, maintainable and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities include designing efficient technical solutions and applications based on functional and technical requirements, translating requirements into detailed technical analyses, design documents, UML diagrams and process descriptions, ensuring solutions comply with internal technical standards and are correctly deployed across the relevant systems, building a strong understanding of the existing technical landscape, integrations and shared applications, understanding dependencies between systems and assessing the broader impact of technical changes, ensuring the long-term quality, stability, scalability and maintainability of applications and platforms, preparing and executing test cases and regression testing, working closely with architects, developers, functional analysts, project managers and operational teams, acting as the main technical point of contact for project leadership and IT management, and proactively communicating potential risks, dependencies, issues and delays.

Required experience and skills include a minimum of 6 years of experience in technical analysis; strong experience creating technical design documents, UML diagrams, process descriptions and technical specifications; strong knowledge of .NET; strong knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases; good understanding of Design Patterns, System Integration, Software Engineering, Data Monitoring, and application administration; experience working within complex IT environments, including existing/legacy applications and structured enterprise processes; and a strong analytical and pragmatic approach with the ability to understand the wider impact of technical solutions.

Nice to have includes knowledge or experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Containers, Cloud Computing / Microsoft Azure, and Angular, and a willingness to develop further expertise in cloud technologies is expected. For quality and collaboration, you should be comfortable taking ownership while working collaboratively across technical and functional teams, with a strong focus on quality including unit testing, non-regression testing, technical documentation, stable and maintainable solution design, and scalable application architecture.

You should also be able to explain complex technical subjects clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Language requirements: English fluent; Dutch & French required, one fluent and the other at least basic.
