Technical Business Consultant – OSS & Netcracker

Our client, a leading organization in the telecommunications sector, is looking for a Technical Business Consultant to join their technical order fulfillment team. The role focuses on maximizing business value by translating complex needs into concepts and future-proof solutions for provisioning and inventory landscapes. This position acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology partners to support large-scale transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities: Translate business needs into clear technical documentation for external delivery partners. Perform requirements and impact analysis on existing processes, systems, and tools. Develop conceptual solution designs and evaluate innovative approaches for infrastructure projects. Define acceptance criteria and validate end-to-end solutions to ensure technical alignment. Provide strategic input for roadmaps and business cases to support decision-making.

Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure high-quality implementation by supporting change management and maintaining documentation.

Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Consultant or Functional Analyst. Strong expertise in process modelling and process management. Proven experience with Netcracker products. Proficiency in SOAP and REST, including API documentation using Swagger. Experience working with both COTS and custom-built applications within OSS environments. Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work effectively within complex team dynamics. You are fluent in English.

Nice to Haves: Knowledge of GCP. Experience in OSS/BSS or network provisioning within the telecom industry. Experience working with offshore teams. Knowledge of Dutch.

Duration: until 31/12/2026 with possible extensions.

Work regime: Full-time.

Location: Mechelen.

Working model: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days/week onsite, including Monday and Thursday).

Contract: open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
