Volledige omschrijving

Our client, an organisation in the renewable energy sector, is looking for a Technical Warehouse Worker to join its operations in Friesland on a contract basis. The role sits between the warehouse and the technical teams. It makes sure materials, components and equipment are received, stored, prepared and issued correctly, so that work on site keeps moving. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day warehouse activity and bring a practical, technical mindset to it.

This means identifying parts, checking deliveries against specifications, keeping stock records accurate and preparing materials for projects and maintenance work. Because the job has a technical side, an understanding of electrical or mechanical components will help you work well with engineers and field staff. This role suits someone who is hands-on, organised and comfortable working both on their own and as part of a team. Further details on start date, duration and working pattern are to be confirmed with candidates.

Main responsibilities: Receive incoming deliveries and check quantities, condition and specifications against order documents; Store materials, components and equipment safely and logically in the warehouse; Pick, pack and prepare technical materials for projects, installation and maintenance activities; Keep stock records accurate, including stock counts and inventory updates in the relevant system; Spot and report damaged, incorrect or missing items, and support returns where needed; Work with technical and field teams to understand material needs and prioritise preparation; Load and unload goods, using warehouse equipment where qualified to do so; Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe, in line with HSE procedures; Help improve warehouse processes, layout and material flow.

Requirements: Essential: Experience in a warehouse, logistics or materials handling role; Technical understanding of components, parts or equipment, ideally electrical or mechanical; An accurate, structured way of working with stock and documentation; Comfortable with practical, physical work in a warehouse setting; Basic computer skills for stock administration and warehouse systems; A safety-conscious approach to work.

Desirable: Experience in a technical, installation or energy-related environment; Forklift or other warehouse equipment certification; Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems.

The offer: Contract role based in Friesland, Netherlands; A hands-on position combining warehouse operations with technical work; Contact with technical and field teams in the renewable energy sector; Contract terms, start date and duration to be confirmed with candidates.
