Eisen

The client is a Dutch/Belgian food manufacturing company focused on frozen snacks, meal components, and private-label food products across Europe. As a Supplier Planner, you act as the key link between Demand Planning and Manufacturing operations. You are responsible for developing and managing production plans across 4 to 5 manufacturing sites, ensuring an optimal balance between customer demand, service levels, and factory efficiency. This is a highly dynamic planning environment where priorities can shift frequently.

The role requires a proactive professional who can confidently challenge stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive the most effective supply planning outcomes. You will be part of a team of eight colleagues based in the Netherlands and collaborate regularly with planning colleagues in Spain. This is a temporary position covering a long-term absence, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities include: creating and maintaining weekly production plans for multiple manufacturing sites; balancing demand forecasts, commercial requirements, and available production capacity; anticipating and managing exceptional situations such as major promotional activities, seasonal demand peaks, and factory shutdowns; collaborating closely with planners, production teams, and business support functions across several factories; monitoring supply performance, identifying planning constraints, and proposing practical solutions; acting as a trusted business partner to manufacturing sites; managing competing priorities and adapting quickly to changing business requirements; maintaining strong stakeholder relationships while confidently defending recommendations; and participating in site visits across manufacturing facilities in the Netherlands approximately once per month.

Requirements: HBO degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; 1 to 5 years of relevant experience within supply planning, production planning, logistics, or supply chain operations; experience with Slim4 (Slimstock) is preferred; advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities; strong affinity for working with data; experience with planning systems and supply chain tools is advantageous; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; critical thinker; excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills; ability to balance customer service objectives with production efficiency; proactive, resilient, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment; strong communication skills; fluent in Dutch and English; full-time position (40 hours per week) with 36 hours negotiable; flexible working hours; hybrid working model with the possibility to work from home on Fridays after onboarding; primarily office-based during the rest of the week; monthly travel to production sites in the Netherlands required.
