Focus: leading towage dispatch, fleet planning and operational improvement. As Dispatch Supervisor, you will lead the team responsible for planning tug assistance in the Scheldt region. The role combines daily operational decisions with coaching, capacity management and improvements to the way the dispatch team works. Following a period of change, the team is looking for a supervisor who can bring clarity and consistency while maintaining a safe and reliable service.

You will coordinate tug assistance for vessels in the Scheldt region. Dispatch connects fleet availability, planning and the teams carrying out the work on the water. You will work closely with the planners and other internal departments to keep these activities aligned, while helping the team build stable working practices.

Responsibilities: lead the dispatch team and coordinate its daily workload; oversee the planning of tug capacity and accurate registration of completed vessel assistances; plan work, train and coach dispatch colleagues; monitor fleet capacity and service efficiency; coordinate with other departments; track operational KPIs and initiate improvements; contribute to the annual business plan.

Profile: bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management or equivalent; at least five years of experience in operational planning or dispatch; experience leading and coaching an operational team; ability to organise changing priorities; good working knowledge of operational applications, SAP an advantage; fluent Dutch and excellent English; experience improving processes during change a significant advantage.
