Warehouse Manager a.i.

The Warehouse Manager a.i. is responsible for leading warehouse operations, compliance, safety, and performance across a complex distribution network in the Netherlands. This role drives operational excellence, manages third-party logistics partnerships, and ensures the efficient, compliant, and cost-effective flow of products throughout the supply chain. Our client is a leading international manufacturing and production organization with a strong focus on operational excellence, safety, and supply chain performance operating in Moerdijk.

In this role as Warehouse Manager a.i. you will lead all day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance; manage warehouse teams, supporting employee development, engagement, and operational delivery; oversee relationships with third-party logistics and warehousing partners to drive service excellence; monitor warehouse budgets, costs, and resource utilization to optimize financial performance; implement and track operational KPIs focused on quality, productivity, safety, and customer service; ensure timely order fulfillment and outbound shipment performance; drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and operational effectiveness; maintain compliance with environmental, health & safety, quality, and regulatory standards; collaborate closely with Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, Customer Service, HR, and Operations teams; and support strategic warehousing projects and network optimization initiatives.

Requirements for this Warehouse Manager a.i. include experience managing warehouse operations within a manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environment; proven leadership experience with responsibility for operational teams and performance management; strong knowledge of warehouse safety, EHS, and quality management systems; experience managing budgets, operational KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives; understanding of third-party logistics and warehouse provider management; strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams; a proactive and results-oriented leadership style; a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related discipline is preferred; fluency in Dutch and English; and ZZP registration and being based in the Netherlands.
