Workplace Engineer – Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management

Our client, a significant organization in the public sector, is looking for a Workplace Engineer to help build a secure and modern digital environment for thousands of users. This role focuses on modern endpoint management, automation, and cybersecurity across multiple platforms including laptops and mobile devices.

Responsibilities: manage and configure Microsoft Intune and associated Microsoft 365 workplace services; automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and other scripting techniques; oversee software deployments, packaging, and application lifecycle management; administer Windows, iOS, and Android devices within a large-scale enterprise environment; strengthen endpoint security through Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access, and compliance policies; collaborate with architects and security specialists on infrastructure projects from analysis to implementation.

Requirements: 5+ years experience as a system administrator focused on infrastructure and workplace management; 3+ years experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 administration; 3+ years experience with PowerShell scripting and automation; 3+ years experience in Endpoint Management across Windows, iOS, and Android; 1+ years experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint; 1+ years experience with Windows Security Baselines, hardening, and compliance policies; 1+ years experience applying ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change management; experience with specialized systems such as Unix, Linux, or Windows environments; proactive, analytical, strong problem-solving skills; fluent in Dutch at C2 level.

Nice to have: experience with software packaging and deployment using Win32 or MSIX; knowledge of Zero Trust principles, Conditional Access, and Microsoft App Control for Business; professional experience with SharePoint Online; previous experience working within a public sector organization; experience with ICT infrastructure solutions.

Offer: start date 27/10/2026, duration until 31/12/2027, full-time, hybrid working model in Antwerpen, contract open to both permanent employees and freelancers.
