Expert Business Analyst - EU Digital ID Wallet

A major Belgian bank in Brussels is implementing the European Digital ID Wallet across its digital channels for individual customers and employees. As Expert Business Analyst / Project Manager, you lead the project from initiation to delivery — gathering business requirements, coordinating solution design, development and testing, and managing schedules, budgets and risks so the wallet integrates seamlessly into the digital banking experience. Responsibilities include managing the EU Digital ID Wallet implementation lifecycle from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring and closure; gathering and documenting business requirements from customer experience, marketing and operations stakeholders; collaborating with solution design teams to align the wallet implementation with the bank's digital strategy; managing development, integration and testing across existing digital channels and backend systems; developing and maintaining project plans, resource allocation plans, schedules and project budgets; coordinating across IT, customer experience, marketing and external vendors to ensure timely delivery; and managing project risks, issues and changes with mitigation plans.

The role requires 15+ years of project management and business analysis (preferably in daily banking / digital channels), managing projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors and technical teams, end-to-end project lifecycle management, business requirements elicitation across customer experience, marketing and operations, and integration of digital identity or customer-facing solutions with existing digital channels and systems. A Master's degree with relevant experience in similar projects is required; Project Management Methodology certification is a plus.

Fluency in English, French and Dutch (speaking, reading, writing) is mandatory. Soft skills include excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, experience with Agile project management methodologies, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an authentic and delivery-driven mindset. Location is Brussels (5 min walk from Central Station), with remote/telework allowed from Belgium only. Contract length is 14 months with an estimated daily rate of €720-850.
