Senior Business Analyst - KYC

A major Belgian bank in Brussels is strengthening its Know Your Customer (KYC) delivery team for a KYC front-end application. As Senior Business Analyst, you own a portion of the team's analysis activities — eliciting and documenting business and solution requirements, designing workflows, and bridging business stakeholders with IT developers and testers in a scaled agile environment.

Responsibilities: elicit, analyse and document business, stakeholder, solution and transition requirements for the KYC front-end application; work closely with Product Owners, architects and SMEs to identify high-level requirements and design new business processes; define detailed product requirements, use cases and application performance metrics; transition requirements and use cases to designers and developers and review designs and prototypes; translate requirements into test conditions and expected results for product, performance and user acceptance testing; maintain requirements traceability for impact and coverage analysis across the project lifecycle.

Business experience (mandatory): business analysis in KYC IT projects (4+ years), good understanding of workflow processes, strong IT conceptual and technical affinity, experience in a scaled agile environment.

Preferable: banking experience.

Functional experience (mandatory): elicitation, analysis and documentation of business, stakeholder, solution and transition requirements (senior, ≥4 years), translating requirements and use cases for designers and testers.

Technical experience (mandatory): conceptual modelling techniques and methods (≥4 years), requirements management and traceability, good understanding of IT and testing (UAT, product and performance test conditions), MS Office.

Preferable: mockup design and user-flow design, SQL querying, high-level knowledge of IT concepts (APIs, endpoints, Swagger, HLAM, front-end vs back-end).

Language requirements: English (mandatory, fluent), Dutch or French (fluent, not individually mandatory).

Soft skills: analytical mind and conceptual thinking, strong stakeholder management, negotiation and persuasion skills, structured, independent and problem-solving approach, quality-minded with an eye for detail and project ownership, strong written and spoken communication skills. Start date 2026-10-08, duration 12 months, hybrid ~50% on site / 50% homeworking, remote from Belgium only. Estimated daily rate €620–740.
