IT Business Partner / Business Analyst (SAP)

An experienced IT Business Partner / Business Analyst is required to translate business challenges into effective enterprise application solutions across operational environments. The assignment focuses on improving business processes, defining application requirements and supporting a future-focused application roadmap. Our client is an organisation operating in an asset-intensive environment where enterprise applications play a critical role in supporting operational, engineering and supply chain activities.

Responsibilities include analysing business processes and documenting validated requirements; delivering functional solution proposals aligned with business objectives; facilitating stakeholder alignment across business, IT and external vendors; improving application-supported processes and identifying optimisation opportunities; prioritising business demand and translating it into actionable initiatives; contributing to application roadmaps and future technology planning; and supporting successful delivery of application enhancement projects from concept to implementation.

The successful applicant will have proven experience as an IT Business Partner, Business Analyst or similar role; hands-on experience with enterprise applications such as SAP and/or IBM Maximo; a strong ability to gather, analyse and challenge business requirements; excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; experience within offshore, oil & gas, energy, utilities or other asset-intensive industries; and knowledge of operations, maintenance, engineering or supply chain processes.

The client offers a freelance contract, 32-40 hours, estimated duration 6 months, in South Holland.
