Senior Business Analyst - Credit

This is a Senior Business Analyst - Credit role for a major Belgian bank in Brussels. The mandate covers the credit lifecycle after the contract is signed — adjustments through to full repayment — so digital, simple and compliant lending stays workable for all customer types. The role involves gathering and analysing business needs, running impact and scenario analysis, defining acceptance criteria, supporting feature refinement, and supporting testing and UAT.

Required business experience includes 3-5 years in banking industry (mandatory), risk and credits with end-to-end knowledge of credit products (mandatory), and agile delivery (mandatory). Functional experience includes requirements gathering, impact analysis and translation into functional requirements (3-5 years, mandatory), feature refinement, slicing and dependency/risk identification (mandatory), and support for functional testing, UAT and release validation (mandatory).

Technical experience includes functional knowledge of applications serving credit processes and products (mandatory), technical affinity with COBOL applications, Java APIs and process-layer configuration (mandatory), and analysing API-related needs and functional integration flows (mandatory).

Language requirements: English fluent (mandatory), Dutch or French fluent (not mandatory, but preferred). Soft skills include excellent analysis skills, strong stakeholder management, efficient facilitation, ability to convince and negotiate, drive and tenacity, customer orientation, and teamwork. The role is hybrid ~50% on site / 50% homeworking, located in Brussels (5 min walk from Central Station), remote/telework from Belgium only. Start date 2026-11-02, duration 14 months.
